Sessional Staff, Bridgend Growing Communities

Sessional staff for Bridgend Growing Communities

Bridgend Growing Communities is looking to establish a pool of sessional staff that it can call upon for time limited projects.

Bridgend Growing Communities (formerly known as ‘Bridgend Allotments Community Health Inclusion Project) is an established organisation currently using community growing to address health inequalities. Growing can result in better health, new skills, stronger communities and job opportunities. In recognition that the underlying cause of health inequalities is socio-economic, growing is not considered in isolation, but individuals are also supported to gain new skills and go into communities to build capacity.

The principal services operate from the Bridgend Allotments in Craigmillar, Edinburgh but people in other areas of the city have also been supported.

The rate of pay is dependent on skills and experience.

Please send a CV and/or a letter of interest outlining your skills and experience to Karen Carrick, Secretary.

Post to Bridgend - Growing Communities, Bridgend Allotment Site, 41 Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh, EH16 4TE.
