The Allotments Regeneration Initiative seeks to promote and support the take-up of allotment gardening as an activity by larger numbers of people of all backgrounds and walks of life.

Our vision is of an increasing number of sites for allotment gardening, accessible in every community and to everyone who wishes to garden, all fully used and appropriately equipped, and run in a manner that is efficient, democratic, and both environmentally and economically sustainable. We recognise that allotments can deliver multiple and diverse benefits both to gardeners and to the broader public, and our vision encompasses the advocacy of these benefits and active support for their delivery, not least through the efforts of the gardeners themselves.
