ARI Events

Would you like an ARI event in your area?

AGM party at Sefton Park Allotment Society, LiverpoolARI has local events happening throughout the year around the UK. Delivered by ARI Mentors, our events are an opportunity to learn more about hot topics relevant to your area and meet other people involved with allotment regeneration.

An example of one of these events was the recent "Setting up an allotment association: What?s in it for you?", which took place in early March in Barnsley. The event was facilitated by Phil Gomersall, ARI Mentor for Yorkshire & the Humber. Delegates learnt about how to benefit from setting up an allotment association, suitable management structures and good practice studies. A networking lunch gave time for delegates to network and swap tips.

ARI Network Co-ordinator Deborah Burn says:

"ARI users have told us that they would like to have events on their doorstep, focusing on their immediate needs and local issues. These new local events give anyone involved in allotment regeneration an opportunity to link up with local, regional and national organisations involved in working towards a positive future for allotments. Held all around the UK, these events are a vibrant mixture of networking opportunities and workshops."

All events are for anyone involved in allotment regeneration. The events will run for half a day and are for 20/30 people.

Contact us if you have an idea for an event in your area. Anyone who automatically receives an ARI Newsletter will receive advance notification of upcoming events in their area. If you do not currently receive a copy of our newsletter and would like to be added to our mailing list to receive details of future events please contact us.
