Funding of £20,540 under the ARI Flagship Grant Scheme has created a brand new allotment site on previously overgrown grassland owned by a local community group - the Devenish Partnership Forum. A newly established Devenish Gardening Club now manage their new site, which is situated adjacent to a large social housing development. The site will not only provide a valuable green space and growing opportunities but will also help bring communities together in Enniskillen.

Allotments in Northern Ireland are very few and far between and this award highlights the alternative approaches ARI's development work has taken in different regions and countries in the UK.
