Benefits of membership
Why join?
You will become part of the wider movement of city farms and community gardens that benefit from the support, representation and promotion FCFCG provides.
Our development team provides practical support direct to members and helps organise networking and training events in their region. Publications and online resources are available across a wide range of subjects including funding and budgeting, community involvement, animal husbandry, animal welfare, horticulture, land management, legal issues, staffing, youth work and child protection. FCFCG is also well placed to provide members with emergency information and support (eg in the event of disease outbreaks such as foot and mouth disease or avian influenza).
We work on your behalf to keep the aspirations of the movement on the political agenda, lobbying effectively at a local and national level whilst promoting good practice, improving networks and creating training and development opportunities.
