Scotland Funding
Site Visits Travel Bursary: The Growing Communities partnership has a travel bursary scheme funded by the Big Lottery. This is open to anyone actively engaged in community gardens, therapeutic gardens or city farms that wishes to go and visit other such groups to share ideas and good practice. This bursary scheme is not for allotments.
You will be able to apply for up to £300 in total for travel and associated expenses for up to six people. Bursaries will be awarded to applicants that can demonstrate that the proposed visit will inform and assist their own community garden, therapeutic garden or city farm. FCFCG and Trellis will be able to help you identify other community gardens, therapeutic gardens and city farms across Scotland to visit. Application success will depend on your application and available funding. We will award 10 bursaries each year. For more information please contact Vicki Ferguson using the contact details at the bottom of this page or download a form using the link below:

Support funding for food initiatives: Community Food and Health (Scotland) is committed to supporting community food initiatives delivering community food and health activities that are meeting the needs of the most disadvantaged members of society. One of CFHS’s roles is to improve and increase the robustness of organisations delivering community food and health activities, so that they are better able to overcome challenges to their long-term sustainability. Community food initiatives that are likely to face sustainability issues within the next 6-18 months are invited to apply to CFHS to be part of their business support programme. The programme will provide business support for up to ten community food initiatives. For more details and an application form, visit the Current Work page of the Community Food and Health (Scotland) website.
