Scotland Partnerships
Growing Communities in Scotland: This is a Big Lottery funded partnership between FCFCG, the Allotments Regeneration Initiative and Trellis, with the aim of providing support, advice, newtworking opportunities and training events to community and therapeutic gardening projects across Scotland.
Trellis is the national Scottish charity that supports, promotes, and develops the use of horticulture to improve health, well-being and life opportunities for all. Trelllis works with many therapeutic gardens.
ARI aims to support and develop allotments regeneration and the creation of brand new allotment sites in the UK, gather and disseminate information about good practice in allotments management and raise the profile of allotments with the public and Government.
Local People Leading: FCFCG in Scotland supports this informal alliance of national and regional networks, local community groups and individuals that has come together to campaign for a strong and independent community sector in Scotland. LPL has two main functions - to promote the work of local people in their communities and to influence national policy development. We email regular briefings to our supporters on both these themes. Find out more details via the Local People Leading website.
