Bob Bull (Glachbeg Croft Education Centre, Black Isle) – Bob is a rural science teacher who has a lot of experience of being involved with community farms and school farms and can give advice on educational work, livestock issues and more. He managed a school and community farm in Southampton and has set up and runs the Glachbeg Croft as an Education Centre near Inverness.
Chris Conniff (Good for Ewe, Poolewe) – Chris was involved in the setting up of and is a Director of the community garden at Good For Ewe near Poolewe so has a lot of practical growing experience and of running a community market. She also works for a community development organisation and worked for a Bank for many years so has extensive experience of business plans, finance, business systems and policies and procedures.
Lou Evans (Redhall Walled garden, Edinburgh) – Lou has worked at the Redhall Walled Garden for 10 years so has a lot of experience of practical gardening/wildlife gardening and working with people with mental illness.
Alison Gow (Liberton Hospital, Edinburgh) – Alison is an OT who has set up the gardening project at the Liberton Hospital. NHS, She has experience of working with older people/people with mental illness/physical disability/dementia and an understanding of the workings of the NHS set up.
Judi Legg (Stirling, Clackmananshire, Falkirk) – Judi has a lot of experience of working with community groups and working with schools. She is also involved with Grounds for Learning. She can provide advice and support on working with schools and getting children involved in the projects. She has a lot of experience of negotiating contracts and designing gardens
Debbie Lochead (Broughty Ferry Environmental Project, Dundee) – Debbie has extensive experience of working within community and therapeutic gardens. She managed the Hope Project in Arbroath and has worked within the education setting with Elmwood College. She can provide support and advice on setting up a social enterprise, market gardens, community gardens, business planning and evaluation. She been involved in running many a lot of training course so could provide support with researching possible training options.
Ellen McCance (Wecan, Fife) – Ellen is the Director of WECAN and has a lot of experience of supporting the development of community groups – community growing groups, community cafes, composting, community orchards etc. She has also been involved in media and marketing so has a lot of experience of working with the press and marketing for your project.
