Finding The GreenHouse

How to find us

The GreenHouse is a wooden building with a grass roof. It is situated opposite the rear of St Catherine's Parade in Bedminster, between a small park and Hereford Street Car Park. The entrance faces onto the park.

There are disabled parking bays in Hereford Street Car Park. A wheelchair ramp leads up to the main door of The GreenHouse and facilities include a toilet for disabled users. 

 

By foot

It takes approximately 20 mins to walk from Temple Meads Train Station or the city centre. You can download and print out a local map to help you find your way here:  GreenHouse map

 

By bus

From Temple Meads Railway Station:
Exit the station building and walk the short distance down Station Approach Road to the junction with Temple Gate (the A4). Cross over to the bus stops on the far carriageway and take the No. 52 bus to St. Catherine's Place, Bedminster. For travel back: buses run every 15 minutes from the stop by the Asda store on Bedminster Parade (five mins walk).

From Bristol central bus station:
Leaving the coach station via the Whitson Street exit, follow the road down to the left and cross over the dual carriageway (Lewins Mead). Head for the bus stop next to the House of Fraser building, which is visible directly to your left. Take the No. 75, 76 or 77 bus to St. Catherine's Place, Bedminster. For travel back: buses run about every 10 minutes from the stop by the Asda store on Bedminster Parade (five minutes walk).

From Bristol Airport, Lulsgate:
The airport flyer bus runs between Bristol Airport and Bristol Bus Station with a stop outside Asda supermarket in Bedminster. From here, cross at the pedestrian crossing, turn right and follow the road back through the S-bend until you reach the small park bordering the GreenHouse. By train

From Temple Meads Railway Station:
A limited service is in operation between Temple Meads Station and Bedminster Station (situated 100m from The Greenhouse). The journey takes approximately five minutes. Ring 0845 748 4950 for timetable details.

 

By taxi

Ask for The GreenHouse (the building with the grass roof) opposite St Catherine's Place, Bedminster.

 

By car

From North and East: M32/A38/A37/A4
At the roundabout south of Temple Meads Railway Station turn into York Road (by Fowler's Motorbikes). At the Bedminster Bridge roundabout turn left into Bedminster Parade. Continue along and around the 'S' bend further up the road. Take the next left into Hereford Street (approx 100m) and turn immediately left into Hereford Street Car Park. The GreenHouse is the wooden building to your right.

From North West: A4
Follow the directions above from the Bedminster Bridge roundabout, turning right into Bedminster Parade.

From South: A38 and the A370
Turn left into Malago Road at the traffic lights by the small railway bridge. Take the first right into Hereford Street (approx 300m) and turn left into Hereford Street Car Park. The GreenHouse is the wooden building to your right.

 

Parking

Hereford Street Car Park is free but parking is limited to three hours. Alternative parking can be found at the NCP Pay Car Park on Dalby Road (two minutes walk) or by driving under the railway bridge opposite The GreenHouse and parking in one of the side roads.
