Funded by the Local Food Programme from the Big Lottery Fund, this unique and exciting project helps supports community groups to grow food sustainably.

The Project has been developed following a sharp rise in interest from community groups seeking land and specific advice for community food growing, including those on city farms, community gardens, orchards, allotment projects and school gardens.

Running for three years, the Project includes:

• Hands-on Support to new and existing groups from a team of development workers, providing direct advice, training and networking events
• Information Resources, including research into emerging trends and initiatives resulting from the community food growing boom
• Interactive Online Map showing local food groups and projects to visit or places where you can join in community food growing activities.
