News & events

City Harvest Festival:  This year the Harvest festival celebrated its 10th anniversary with a fun and sunny day out for the crowds of visitors to Capel Manor in Enfield.

As ever, the event is the closest London gets to its own county show and provides an opportunity for London's community farms and gardens to celebrate the fantastic work they do throughout the year. With craft demonstrations, hands-on activities for children, the World of Bees, rare breed animals and freshly harvested produce on display there was something for everyone.

For details of this year's event, visit the Federation's own City Harvest Festival webpage.

  • In addition to large scale events and stories here, keep an eye out on our regularly updated Events Page listings for details of events, fairs and workshops taking place on city farms and community gardens in London.
