stretch of the route gives you great views of the Thames and the
commercial heart of the Isle of Dogs as you make your way into the East
End.
Directions (from Mudchute):
- Turn Left out of Mudchute onto Manchester Road
- Turn Right up Marsh Wall until the City Pride pub
- Cycle across the car park
- Go Across West Ferry Road onto the cycle path, following the sign to Mile End/ Limehouse
- Leave the path at Dockside Walkway/Dunbar Wharf onto Narrow Street and past the Grapes pub, dating from 1583
- Turn Left at Butcher Row
- Head Across Commercial Road onto White Horse Road
- Turn Right onto Belgrave Street
- Go Across road onto Stepney Way. The farm is on the right.

Mudchute Park and Farm, Tower Hamlets
General Information: An expanse of green on the Isle of Dogs, Mudchute covers an area of high ground created from spoil and silt removed from the surrounding docks towards the end of the last century. Despite being on the doorstep of Docklands, Mudchute is a wildlife haven with pastures, wildflower banks, woodlands, ponds and a nature trail for visitors to enjoy. The biggest city farm in Europe is also home to an equestrian centre and a variety of animals, including llamas.
Facilities: Disabled access. Cafe, shop, picnic area, outdoor play area, toilets, education room, nature and environment study centre, riding arena, garden centre.

Stepping Stones City Farm, Tower Hamlets
General Information: A small but lively working farm in Tower Hamlets, Stepping Stones was created from former derelict land and is home to many friendly animals. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal events, wildlife walks and buy delicious home made foods from the farm shop.
Facilities: Disabled access. Toilets, farm shop, cafe, education classroom, picnic garden/play area, souvenir, gift and book shop. Baby-changing area. Coach parking.
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9.30am-5pm in winter or 6pm in summer. The farm may be affected by Crossrail construction so please check the current situation before visiting.
