Stepping Stones City Farm to Spitalfields City Farm

Estimated Time:
20 minutes

Comment:
This 20 minute pedal takes you through part of the East End with its Bangladeshi community centred around the famous Brick Lane, before arriving at Spitalfields City Farm, near the edge of the borough border between Tower Hamlets and Hackney.

Directions (from Stepping Stones):

  • Turn Right out of Stepping Stones onto Stepney Way - this is a narrow road for cyclists to share with vehicles so be careful
  • Continue to New Road and Turn Right here
  • Go Across Whitechapel Road onto Vallance Road, the haunt of the Kray Twins in the 1960s
  • Turn Left onto Buxton Street, this is a one-way street, so dismount and walk down it
  • Turn Right after the playground to the path between the fences
  • Turn Right onto Weaver Street and Spitalfields City Farm.
