you along and then under the Thames until you emerge at Mudchute with
good views across to the business heart of East London around Canary
Wharf.
Directions (from Surrey Docks):
- Turn Left out of Surrey Docks
- Turn Right at Odessa Street
- Turn Left at Gulliver Street
- Go Across Finland Street past the Ship and Whale pub, to Southsea Street
- Go Across Greenland Dock
- Bear Left to Greenland Dock ferry stop and go across the dock on a narrow bridge to a long stretch of the Thames Path
- Head Across Pepys Park onto Grove Street, then Prince Street
- Turn Right at the Dog and Bell down Watergate Street and onto Creek Road
- Turn Right at Norway Street to Thames Street
- Follow signs to the Cutty Sark, then dismount and take your bike in the lift down to the foot tunnel under the Thames
- After the tunnel take Saunders Ness Road onto Manchester Road and follow the signs to Mudchute.

Surrey Docks Farm, Southwark
General Information: Situated in a beautiful location on the banks of the Thames looking across the river to the soaring towers of Canary Wharf, Surrey Docks has goats, cows, hens, pigs and bees to see. There is a working blacksmith on site; herb, dye and vegetable gardens. Plus many examples of community art. Visitors can try delicious healthy food in the farm's caf? Nabo (open 11am-4.30pm).
Facilities: Disabled access. Toilets and shop. Access to Thames Path for a delightful riverside walkway. Bee room, classroom and yurt room (by prior appointment only).

Mudchute Park and Farm, Tower Hamlets
General Information: An expanse of green on the Isle of Dogs, Mudchute covers an area of high ground created from spoil and silt removed from the surrounding docks towards the end of the last century. Despite being on the doorstep of Docklands, Mudchute is a wildlife haven with pastures, wildflower banks, woodlands, ponds and a nature trail for visitors to enjoy. The biggest city farm in Europe is also home to an equestrian centre and a variety of animals, including llamas.
