News & Events

Support Workers: Interest in community farms and gardens in Wales is continuing to grow and the number of members in Wales is increasing. As a result, we are now recruiting a pool of support workers throughout Wales to provide advice and support to our developing network of groups as part of the 'Growing Together in Wales' Big Lottery funded programme. This is an exciting opportunity to become more involved in the growing movement and become a member of the Federation's team in Wales.

Support workers must be based on or working with, a FCFCG member community farming or gardening project in Wales, so if you have not registered your project as a member and would like to apply for the post, please return your application along with the your projects completed membership form. N.B. Membership is free to projects with an annual income of less than £10,000.

For further details, go to the Jobs page.

Regional Gatherings: FCFCG is holding regional networking and training events for all those involved or interested in community growing. They are an opportunity for existing and emerging projects to come together and share their knowledge and experiences and identify future opportunities for the movement in Wales.

The Mid Wales regional gathering will be at the Cwm Harry Land Trust on the 23rd January and the South West Wales regional gathering at the Mount Woodlands & Farm Garden in Milford Haven on 11th February.
