 orking to revive and protect heritage apple and pe
 ar varieties with links to the Welsh Marches.  Dur
 ing MAN's 30-year history\, over 50 varieties thou
 ght to be lost have been rediscovered.  Over 300 v
 arieties have been identified over the years\, wit
 h almost 100 currently being investigated.  Wade i

 lant science\, propagation\, edible and ornamental
  plant growing and relevant business marketing top
 ics.  In 2023\, Emma was appointed as a coach to D
 EFRA's New Entrants Support Scheme\, and she conti
 nues to mentor horticultural farmers for Farming C
 onnect.  Emma L. Maxwell and David Ashley are <a h
 ref="https://ashandelm.co.uk/">Ash & Elm</a>\, a v
 ibrant five-acre off-grid market garden and CSA de
 dicated to agroecological and regenerative horticu
 lture since 2011.  Their one-acre orchard is home 
 to a family of barn owls\, and leads to 'Hazelnut 
 Lane'.   Social Farms & Gardens have collaborated 
 with Ash & Elm for many years and know Emma to be 
 a true master of horticulture.  We are thrilled Em
