London Community Gardeners Summer Social

What: A summer afternoon social with drinks and snacks. Come and relax and meet other people.

Who for: Volunteers, trustees and staff of community gardens in London.

When:  4pm - 6:30pm on Thursday 10th July. Drop in or come for the whole event.

Where: Castlehaven Community Centre 'castle room' and garden, with a visit to the Castlehaven Horticultural Hub.

Dress code: Gardening clothes. Garden party clothes. Plant theme clothes. Office clothes. Come as you are. 

Topics of conversation: Community gardening and peer to peer support in London. Plus anything else you want. We will have some optional quizzes and games activites for people that are not into small talk.

Acessibility: This is a ground floor indoor and outdoor venue with seating and an accessible toilet. We can pay London travel if you are disabled.

Cost: This event is free for staff, volunteers and trustees involved in community gardens.

Can I bring a friend?: Yes if you are shy or new to meeting this group of people.

Can I bring children and young people?: Yes. Please let us know.

Can I bring my pet?: No, sorry.

Travel options: Walk. Bus. Bike. Boat (really). Camden Road Overground. Euston Station then a short bus ride. Camden Town tube. Chalk Farm Tube. Parking - paid street parking or in Sainsbury's nearby for a limited time.

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
