Karen Davidson from Growing Together will look at the practicalities and possibilities of new integration of health and social care delivery. How can gardening projects work with new local partnerships to provide services that will support health and well being? Which projects already work in partnership, how can we learn from them? What new pathways do we need to develop?

Year round planning made simple
Lou Evans FCFCG will introduce a simple, replicable framework to give you the confidence to plan and deliver all year round growing activities in your setting. Bring ideas with you and leave with your growing year planned!

An ISM approach to food growing strategy  
Keith Masson Climate Change Officer, Highland Council will examine how the Scottish Government’s ISM behaviour change tool can help increase participation in food growing throughout the region, by identifying what the potential barriers are and how we can overcome these.  The outcomes are likely to be surprising!

Try your hand at a simple, engaging hands on activity for winter that can be replicated in your setting.

Good practice volunteer management
Look at simple and essential elements of good practice volunteer management. An introduction to some of the basics you need to cover regardless of your setting and additional ideas to recruit, retain and reward your volunteers.

The John Muir Award (JMA)
An introduction to the JMA, how it works and why it is such a great, inclusive and flexible activity to run in your garden setting. 

Searching online funding databases using your third sector interface (TSI)
What help and support can your TSI provide with funding/ searches? How should groups be constituted to access some funding types and tips on how having a strategy can help you search effectively.
