Forum to connect and discuss a London Community Gardens Showcase Event

Date: Wednesday Oct 11th
Time: 4pm – 6pm, with optional drinks 6-7pm
At: Calthorpe Community Garden, Kings Cross

This is an invitation to discuss how we can work together to showcase the profound impact of community gardens for Londoners.

This event is for larger community gardens that support other community gardens and gardening outside their own spaces. It's a chance to find out about each others' work, find where we dovetail, and consider what joint work we have the capacity to do, with the support of Social Farms & Gardens staff and one another.   

Outline and aim:

4pm - 6pm Structured Forum
•    Identify community garden connections
•    Discuss a Community Gardens Showcase Event for Spring 2024 to enhance our opportunities to raise funds. Invitees will be London funders such as grant-making trusts, and supporters such as the Worshipful Companies.

6pm - 7pm Refreshments

•    Enjoy a drink, some food, and the company of people that understand your work
