Who/Pwy: The event is aimed at anyone setting up, running or dreaming of starting a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project or other Growing-related Social Enterprise. Priority will be given to CSAs and Enterprises based in Wales. / Mae'r digwyddiad wedi'i anelu at unrhyw un sy'n sefydlu, rhedeg neu freuddwydio am ddechrau prosiect Amaethyddiaeth a Gefnogir gan y Gymuned (AGG) neu Fenter Gymdeithasol arall sy'n gysylltiedig â thyfu. Rhoddir blaenoriaeth i brosiectau AGG a Mentrau yng Nghymru.

Following on from our CSA Business Planning meeting back in March, we'll be hosting a workshop targeted at CSAs.

Most groups start out with huge amounts of optimism, energy and enthusiasm for their cause, but not all succeed in achieving their goals. Successful groups recognise early on the importance of having a strong group vision and purpose, with clearly set out agreed group values.  

Whether you’re looking to set up a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project or other Growing-related Social Enterprise, or maybe the idea of setting up a group or social business is still a while away, this workshop will give you a better understanding of why you should fully explore and agree your group’s purpose and values before embarking on the next steps of your journey.  

Groups and businesses are constantly presented with opportunities; opportunities to grow, diversify and apply for funding. Many projects are inspired to “give back” through wider school and community outreach, education and training opportunities, as well as ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to get involved, benefit and volunteer… but when those opportunities are presented it is important that the way forward is within your original vision and purpose, and in line with your group values, avoiding tensions and divided opinions.  

Facilitator Megan Evans will walk you through the fundamentals of vision, values and purpose, with the opportunities to talk in smaller break-out rooms about your own experiences and plans.  

The session will be delivered in English. 

The event is hosted by Social Farms & Gardens on behalf of our Partner Tyfu Cymru.  Tyfu Cymru, a project hosted by Lantra and funded through the Welsh Government’s RDP programme which is part of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.  Social Farms &  Gardens currently offer support for Community Supported Agriculture projects across Wales including;   

•    Training Delivery & Workshops  

•    A suite of Resources including sharing best practice  

•    Tailored one to one support to projects  

•    Specialist Planning advice and resources  

•    Facilitation of a Tyfu Cymru led CSA Network

Yn dilyn ein cyfarfod Cynllunio Busnes AGG yn ôl ym mis Mawrth, byddwn yn cynnal gweithdy wedi'i dargedu at brosiectau AGG.

Mae'r rhan fwyaf o grwpiau'n dechrau gyda llawer iawn o optimistiaeth, egni a brwdfrydedd dros eu hachos, ond nid yw pob un ohonynt yn llwyddo i gyflawni eu nodau. Mae grwpiau llwyddiannus yn cydnabod yn gynnar bwysigrwydd cael gweledigaeth a phwrpas grŵp cryf, gyda gwerthoedd grŵp wedi eu cytuno’n glir. 

Os ydych yn bwriadu sefydlu prosiect Amaethyddiaeth a Gefnogir gan y Gymuned (AGG) neu Fenter Gymdeithasol arall sy'n gysylltiedig â thyfu, neu hyd yn oed os ydy’r syniad o sefydlu grŵp neu fusnes cymdeithasol yn dal i fod ychydig i ffwrdd, bydd y gweithdy hwn yn rhoi gwell dealltwriaeth i chi o pam y dylech archwilio a chytuno'n llawn ar ddiben a gwerthoedd eich grŵp cyn cychwyn ar gamau nesaf eich taith. 

Cyflwynir cyfleoedd i grwpiau a busnesau'n gyson; cyfleoedd i dyfu, arallgyfeirio a gwneud cais am gyllid. Mae llawer o brosiectau'n cael eu hysbrydoli i "roi'n ôl" drwy gyfleoedd allgymorth, addysg a hyfforddiant ehangach mewn ysgolion a chymunedau, yn ogystal â sicrhau bod pawb yn cael cyfle cyfartal i gymryd rhan, elwa a gwirfoddoli... ond pan gyflwynir y cyfleoedd hynny mae'n bwysig bod y ffordd ymlaen o fewn eich gweledigaeth a'ch diben gwreiddiol, yn unol â gwerthoedd eich grŵp, ac yn osgoi tensiynau a barn ranedig.

Bydd yr hwylusydd, Megan Evans, yn eich arwain chi trwy hanfodion gweledigaeth, gwerthoedd a phwrpas, gyda chyfleoedd i siarad mewn ystafelloedd Zoom llai am eich profiadau a'ch cynlluniau unigol.

Bydd y sesiwn yn cael ei chyflwyno yn Saesneg.
