Start / End Date:
16th January 2019 10:00 to 15:30

Growing a Healthy Community Garden: Year Round Volunteers (Newcastle upon Tyne)

How do we keep our valuable volunteers engaged in our outdoor space throughout the year, including the wet and cold winter seasons?

Sponsored by Dobies and hosted by Scotswood Natural Community Garden, we will explore the principles of good volunteer management including recruitment, volunteer policies, training and retaining volunteers particularly when the bad weather sets in and your garden may not be looking its best.

There will be an opportunity to tour Scotswood Natural Community Garden and hear about how they are successfully working with volunteers in all seasons.

Further information and book online here.
