Cardinal Wiseman School Farm and Garden
One of the first four schools in the country to gain Rural Dimension specialist status. Pupils are given first hand experience with plants and animals whilst helping to improve the school and local community environment. Facilities include compost area, butterfly garden, herbaceous borders, bird and bat boxes, meadow, native hedgerow, pond with shallow beach area, rabbits, woodland area, hedgehog box and log piles, 3 greenhouses, vegetables grown on experimental plot, 5 paddocks and an animal house.
Open to pupils, staff, parents and those using community facilities. Other visitors by arrangement.
