Wirral Environmental Network is a local charity which aims to advance the education of the public about the preservation of our world’s natural environment, ecological sustainability, natural resource conservation, waste minimisation, recycling etc within Wirral and the surrounding area.

We do this through:
Sustainability projects
Environmental hub – physical and online centre for Wirral sustainability information
Education, talks, workshops and courses around environmental themes
Networking events, promoting local groups and facilitating communication

Our community gardening projects include Falkand Road Organic Gardeners (FROG) and, new for 2021, the Community Green Hub @ St James. Both these projects involve community growing in shared beds, training, courses and events on the sites focused on a range of topics including composting, vegetable growing, hedge and tree care, wildflowers and outdoor crafts. We also support a number of other groups for specific timebound projects to help with their community growing.
