Our garden is part of a larger project (organicARTS) based on a working organic farm. It is an inclusive project open to all (on Wed & Fri) with access for people with physical disabilities. The garden is also used as an educational resource for visiting schools and community groups and on farm open days. The garden is available for hire in good weather and can be used for workshops or parties etc.

Community Garden open Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-4pm. School and other community (or other) groups of 6+ people can visit by arrangement, cost depends on if a group leader is required for activities. The farm is open at other times too dependent on activities or open days - check website and social media

Cows, chickens, sheep, pigs - some may be fairly rare, but this is not the reason for keeping them!

Directions:

Leave Exeter on the A377 through Alphington. At the A30 roundabout go straight across (signed Ide); turn left to go through the village; turn right at the mini roundabout just past the Poachers Inn. Follow this road for about half a mile (turn right at the right angled turn) until you see a cow sign. The car park and entrance are just passed this. Public transport does not come all the way to the garden/farm, but we provide a minibus on garden days (Wed & Fri). There is a 360 bus from Exeter (sporadic) or a P bus to the top of Dunsford Hill, walk down the road next to the Co-op (footpath signed Ide) - go over the curly bridge then up through the village as above (30-40 min walk)
