Set within a country park, the farm is a working small-holding with traditional and rare breeds - CEVAS accredited for farm visits from January 2007. The farm does not use any pesticides or fertilisers on the land. Seasonal farming activities including lambing, spinning, sheep shearing and the blacksmith shoeing the horses. We specialise in pre-school and Key Stage 1 & 2 school visits term time, when no members of the public admitted. Children can see, touch and hand feed the animals. A high priority is put on the safety and enjoyment of visitors. Free tractor rides for schools and groups.
Facilities include wet weather facilities, baby changing and coach parking.
