Address: Community Plot at Whetstone Stray Allotments
Holden Road
N12 7DX

Whetstone Stray Allotments is a lovely site, alongside the Dollis Valley Greenwalk. There are many opportunities for nature connection as well as food growing.

The Community Plot @ Whetstone has been going since 2016. It is a double allotment plot with a large poly tunnel, pond, raised beds, wildflower and wildlife areas, composting area, fruit trees and bushes. All cultivation is fully organic and sustainable and biodiversity is encouraged - e.g. we have a slow worm habitat.

The Community Plot is free to use and all materials and tools are provided. It is available for anyone who is unable to have their own allotment plot, either due to disability or disadvantage.

The Community Plot is facilitated by volunteers and used by individual volunteers and groups. In 2023 there will be a regular group session for people who experience depression and anxiety.

If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch!

Whetstone Stray Allotments borders the Dollis Valley green walk, so it is a wonderful site. The Community Plot is a place to grow and take home fruit and vegetables. It's also a place to connect to nature. We regularly see all sorts of wonderful wildlife,
