Following a campaign to save Streetly library from closure by Walsall Council in 2015/16 the project hopes to develop the library as a community facility. One of the projects the 'Friends of Streetly Library' have underway is a proposal to develop a closed, scraggy piece of land at the rear of the library into an open access community garden.
