Gilmerton House Kitchen Garden is a privately owned walled garden in East Lothian. The garden is being developed involving volunteers to provide a community beneficial project around encouraging individuals, temporarily unable to work due to issues with mental health, back into paid work. The garden will provide produce for Gilmerton House in the form of flowers, fruit, some vegetables and herbs with a view to including also eggs and honey in our range of foodstuffs available. We will be running horticultural training courses from the garden for those keen to expand their skills.
