Address: Long Lane,
off Stephen Hill/Back Lane,
S10 5PY

Holly Hagg is a 3 acre field on the Northern slopes of the beautiful and historic Rivelin Valley run by the voluntary organisation Friends of Holly Hagg. Our aim is to enhance the land, creating meadows, ponds, orchards and vegetable cultivation spaces for people to grow together using sustainable, organic principles based on Permaculture. We keep a few alpacas to graze the meadow and produce fleece (and manure) but mostly because they are a wonderful addition to the project and help us raise funds through a successful alpaca trekking business. School and youth group visits and short courses in country skills such as dry stone walling, willow crafts, bee keeping and of course growing food are part of our vison; reskilling people and reconnecting us with each other, the land and our means of survival.
