Banbury's Bridge Street Community Garden started out in 2015 when group of enthusiastic allotment holders and green fingered people formed a sub-group from Banbury Community Action Group. We have transformed an unused derelict area of hardcore into an edible community garden. With support from the local councils and a team of committed volunteers we have built an inspiring place for people to learn about food growing. We offer free drop-in garden sessions on a weekly basis. It is a public space so anyone can help themselves to herbs, salads, kale, courgettes etc. We are ideally located in the centre of town at the back of the bus station next to the Oxford Canal.
