We are transforming a once unused, overgrown piece of parkland into a Community allotment where we grow fruit, vegetables, flowers and herbs. Our recent task has been to do a green roof on our shelter ie sedum and we have worked hard to put in access for folks with disability/ mobility problems. As a group we help with gardening practice, have had workshops kindly thanks to City and Farm and we plan to do more Open days, increase our herb area, put in a picnic table, build a barbecue, and pizza oven, complete our compost toilet and diversify Community projects.
