We are a Men’s Shed as part of Rowallane Community Hub’s social enterprise. We aim to bring our community together to exchange skills and enthusiasm to grow produce to be made available to the local community. We are in an historic farmyard and with the existing allotments we hope to improve the local environment and adapt the existing raised beds to make the Men’s shed fully inclusive to all abilities and disabilities.

The overall aim of the project is to build pride, respect and cohesion across our community and promote a welcoming, safe, and resilient community site. We also aim to build civic responsibility and help residents shape their quality of life by gardening, workshops and other related activities. We also hope to combat social isolation by bringing people together to share skills and interests.
