Trimdon Community Allotment is a community garden, run by volunteers which supports and encourages our local residents to manage a plot as a community with a share in the spoils! The facilities include raised beds, a potting shed, toilet and specially designed pathways and entrance with easy access. We have raised beds for those who find bending difficult.

As a Community Allotment we welcome everyone, from gardening novices to experts. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and share skills and techniques as well as to enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. We hold event days on propagation, composting and have a stall at the village fair as well as plant sales.

Trimdon Community Allotment meets every Wednesday and Saturday, 1:30 to 3:30pm throughout the year. Membership is £2.50 per year, to cover insurance. Visitors are welcome to come and see us at these times to talk to us, to join us, to learn about us.
