**PLEASE NOTE - OUR HAVE A GROW DAY WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY JUNE 13TH**

We are a group of fifteen families aiming to be self-sufficient. We meet once a week to grow organic vegetables and improve our lives, diets and our sense of community. Pencoed Community Garden started a few years ago after a core member gifted over a field to see if we could grow collectively. We began with just potatoes, but now have brassicas, an expanding area for raised beds, a polytunnel and an orchard. The project is such a success we have been able to set up a stall to sell excess produce, run pick-your-own open days during the harvest season and donate produce to charitable causes. Our next goal is to widen our impact within the community through education and learning opportunities for all.
