Green Teach provide access to therapeutic growing spaces surrounded by natures beauty located in the heart of Barton moss, Salford. We are a sustainable mixed use community Farm open to local organisations who support mental health, schools, community and voluntary groups. We provide the land/resources and connections for networks who can provide additional learning to all users to reconnect social justice within our communities. We also provide intragenerational services based around food and sociability. We provide opportunities for local people to develop skills and knowledge of seasonal growing, cooking, eating and learning from field to plate. There are also workshops to learn about producing honey in a safe environment. Our community space is used as a learning journey which takes people's knowledge of growing through methods of grow, cook, teach and eat. Our ethical and sustainability priorities are working with nature to produce nutritional healthy food using agroecology farming methods.
