We run a community garden in a public park in Lancaster where we garden for people and wildlife. We have a number of projects, including a forest garden of edible plants, a hazel coppice, wildflower meadow and bee bank. We also run courses in nature-based crafts including festive willow wreath making, botanical printmaking and hurdling. Our 'sister' project, Scotch Quarry Village Green has also been using the 8 Shields model to build community and nature connection in the park.
