Operating in the inner London borough of Hackney, our organisation focuses on increasing the social and mental wellbeing of Orthodox Jewish girls aged 7-17 through the provision of extra-curricular after-school programs and holiday schemes nature retreats in the summer holidays, which meets their cultural need for single-gender activities. Our year-round programs target poverty, social deprivation and inequality. We are currently planning a summer holidays playscheme which aims to expand curiosity and widen the horizons of children by providing an onsite farmyard experiences as part of the program. The farmyard experience will include bird shows, pony rides, and a petting zoo with close-up interactions with farm animals. This will expand children’s knowledge about the natural world, encouraging further learning and exploration for children living in the city with little access to the animal and natural world
