We’ll be introducing new opportunities for our members, including the accredited European Gardeniser training programme, our Gardens of Sanctuary resources on working with refugees and asylum seekers, and the UGAIN European programme which explores community integration and the sharing of cultures through community growing. Do you have little or no experience of fundraising? Do you need help and advice on finding and securing suitable funding for your care farm?

This event is designed for care farmers and prospective care farmers with limited experience of fundraising and will provide some of the basic skills and knowledge required.

CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits) Training Dates

The Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme is a nationally recognised accreditation, the scheme offers training for individuals who are working – or plan to work – with groups of school children, young people or clients with additional needs.

Training is coordinated and delivered by the Access to Farms partnership, and accredited by Credit4Learning, part of the Open College Network (OCN). Two-day training events are planned in various venues across England. There are also distance learning options.
