A one-day symposium, showcasing the use of the latest technology in green spaces. The value of green spaces in cities is increasingly recognised for our health and for the environment. In the age of smart cities, technology can play a role in the management and use of such spaces.


New for 2019 - Growing a Healthy Garden with Dobies (England wide)

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Dobies who, as well as offering discounts on their products for our members, are sponsoring a year’s worth of vital training for members of Social Farms & Gardens. This training will support members to grow a healthy community garden and a healthy organisation and events will be held across England.


CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits) Training Dates 2019

The Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme has dates for training events throughout 2019. A nationally recognised accreditation, the scheme offers training for individuals who are working – or plan to work – with groups of school children, young people or clients with additional needs.

Training is coordinated and delivered by the Access to Farms partnership, and accredited by Credit4Learning, part of the Open College Network (OCN). Two-day training events are planned in various venues across England. There are also distance learning options.
