All Wales Gathering 2018

A chance for all community growing projects in Wales to come together to share, learn and celebrate. There’ll be informative and practical workshops, opportunities to meet and hear from projects around Wales and plenty of time to socialise with other community growers. This year’s gathering will take place at the wonderful Ashfield Community Enterprise, near Llandrindod Wells.

Have A Grow Open Gardens Day

Have A Grow Day is aimed at community growing groups across Wales, whether it’s a community garden, school or church garden or community allotment.

The purpose of the day is to help promote community growing and let everyone know about the great work you are doing.   It’s also a chance to raise some money through donations from visitors and you may even get some new volunteers!

Countryside Educational Visits Training Dates 2018

The Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme has dates for training events in 2018. A nationally recognised accreditation, the scheme offers training for individuals who are working – or plan to work – with groups of school children, young people or clients with additional needs.

Training is coordinated and delivered by the Access to Farms partnership, and accredited by Credit4Learning, part of the Open College Network (OCN). Two-day training events continue in various venues across England. There are also distance learning options.
