Learn to build a rocket stove? Hand-feed a lamb? Eat clay-oven baked pizzas using ingredients picked nearby? Wassail round an apple orchard? Cheer on the competitors in The Goat Race? Or simply sit, quietly, in a green oasis in the middle of an built-up area and relax? Our members provide lots of fun, interesting and educational opportunities for visitors.

Stick Man Activity Trails

A small (but growing) number of our members have a 'Stick Man Activity Trail' where younger visitors can learn more about the natural environment on twiggy trail based on the much-loved Stick Man picture books written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Alex Scheffler. They feature colourful trail boards and associated activities and have been designed to encourage children aged 3-7 years to get outdoors and explore the natural world.
