Food Union is a social activism program connected to The Pod, a social care service and funded by Coventry City Council. We run an acre piece of land where we grow produce for our plant based café, run open sessions for members of the public to work alongside us and lead monthly workshops, talks and events with a focus on skill sharing and building food resilience in our community. Although our origins are routed in social care our program is open to all in the city. We have a one to one service specifically for citizens who travel through the Pods mental health service and on occasion work with specific groups to host 'common ground' days with communities of interest.
