Location: Bath City Farm
Salary: £33k - £35k (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time permanent post

Bath City Farm celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020 and we are looking for a key individual to lead us into our next decade of development. We have an amazing 37-acre site in south Bath and have developed a great reputation for delivering horticulture and animal care programmes for adults recovering from mental or physical ill-health and for adults with learning disabilities. In addition, we run activities for children and young people at risk of exclusion and are a great place for children and families to enjoy learning about food and

We have a special place in the local communities of Twerton and Whiteway, at the centre of a network of local charities working to counter disadvantage. Lastly, we see our site as a green oasis, and want to develop further its potential for well-being. We want a new City Farm Director who will share our passion for what we have achieved so far – and who will work with Trustees, staff, volunteers, and visitors to shape and deliver our work in the next decade. We are looking for a leader and a manager, with good experience of both and lots of potential to develop further.

Your background in delivery should be relevant to the activities of the Farm, but you won’t know everything, so you need to be someone who listens, and learns quickly. And you should be up for significant challenges – from getting our new café up and running, to generating more income and to leading wideranging activities and a diverse group of staff and volunteers. But the rewards will be great – measured in lives improved, prospects changed, well-being boosted, and environment enhanced.
