Livestock Coordinator

Location: Bath City Farm

Salary: £19,860 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 16 hours per week across 3 days
Contract: 1 year Fixed-Term (renewable subject to funding)

 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to take on the day-to-day care of our animals, ensuring their health and welfare is maintained to a high standard. The role will include rearing animals for sale and meat production. Working with the General Manager you will plan and implement changes to the Farm’s range of livestock, and with the Site and Facilities Manager you will help develop the infrastructure of the animal housing and enclosures. The successful candidate will participate in other income-generating activities, such as animal tours for parties, school visits and team building days, helping to make our livestock financially sustainable and increasing people’s knowledge around food production and animal welfare.

The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
