Social Garden Co-ordinator/Lead
Location: Camphill Village Trust, Oaklands and The Grange, Lydney, Glos
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Contracted hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Camphill Village Trust is a registered charity formed of ten communities and services in England offering opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other additional needs to live, learn and work with others of all abilities in an environment of mutual care and respect.

We are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm to lead and develop Social Gardening activities across our two Gloucestershire communities, creating therapeutic and work-based learning opportunities. 

You will be supporting people with learning disabilities and other support needs who access day placements and activities within the Camphill Village Trust. As well as working as part the land team to carry out day-today activities and tasks in the gardens, which will include session delivery. 

The role is also to line manage the Social Garden Team including Head Grower and Social Garden Workshop Leader in their roles leading a Therapeutic Garden and a Production Garden. Reporting to the Day Opportunities Manager, you will be responsible for planning and organising of the social gardens in Gloucestershire to help the charity achieve its vision of to see more people with learning and other disabilities lead a life of opportunity, support communities and help the environment.
