This attractive nature garden was created in 1986 as a community garden, with the help of the Harleyford Road Garden Association. Apart from the wall and playground, everything was built by local people and ongoing maintenance is on a voluntary basis. It is the only accessible wildlife site of Metropolitan or Borough importance in the area and is a mix of 'wild' and 'formal'; an oasis in the heart of Vauxhall. The site includes a children's play area, picnic facilities, small enclosed lawns, numerous shrubberies, wildlife area, pond and a small allotment.
