A family business guided by George and Anna Newton, which provides traditional outdoor activities on our smallholding at Hartbarrow, in the Lyth Valley, Cumbria. We keep working ponies, pigs, chickens and ducks and are establishing orchard, soft fruit and vegetable plots. We provide opportunities for small groups to take part in outdoor activities to promote physical and mental health and well being.
Activities available include: gardening; animal care; working pony demonstrations; drystone walling; woodland crafts; walks and talks and engagement in the day-to-day running of a self supporting smallholding.
