We provide access to growing spaces within a working farm which are open to local organisations, schools and voluntary groups. We provide the land/ resources and connections for networks who can provide additional learning.
Part of our mission is to provide an inspiring site for volunteers and parctipants to help reduce lonliness and isolation where they can grow their organic farming knowledge and skills. We also provide intergrational services based around food and sociability.
There is a opportunity to gain basic knowledge of growing, cooking, eating and learning from field to plate through our kitchen garden and community growing spaces. There is also the chance to learn about producing honey in a safe environment.
Our community space is designed as a learning journey which takes people's knowledge of growing through methods of grow, cook, teach and eat.
Our team of experienced garden growers have a background in project management and diverse wildlife conservation and land management. The people and communities who access this service will be able to experience organic and commercial growing techniques and choice a method that works for them.
Our collaborative approach is desgined and inspired by current environmental issues and ecological challenges and our mission is to provide the community with the awareness, tools and knowledge to work towards a solution.
We will seek more networks and organisations that follow our ethos of education, empowerment and environmental sustainability.
A big part of our mission is providing an inspiring destination site to empower and educate within a safe environment to facilitate learning from nature, with a emphasis on personal wellbeing.
