Rhubarb Farm is a horticultural social enterprise on a 2 acre site in a rural ex-pit village on the Notts/Derbs border. The Farm provides training, placement and volunteering opportunities for vulnerable people with a variety of needs and abilities - ex-offenders, recovering substance misusers, school students, people with physical and mental ill health, people with physical and learning disability, and older people, some with dementia. The Farm grows fruit and vegetables, keeps poultry and pigs, and sells produce to local farm shops, restaurants, veg bag customers and through the small on-site shop.
