St Thomas Community Garden is located in St Thomas Pleasure Ground, off Cowick Street, in Exeter (Devon).
Our aim is to grow food in a sustainable way whilst respecting and enhancing local wildlife; to increase access to locally produced food for all in the neighbourhood; and to strengthen the sense of community.
The garden is run by volunteers and organised as a community group (unincorporated organisation). Our volunteers meet every week to tend to the garden, harvest, and share produce. We meet on Sundays at 11 am.
Everyone is welcome, no experience required.
The garden is deeply committed to work with the inhabitants of the neighbourhood and with other local organisations and community groups. We have organised and taken part in several community events locally such as the Good To Grow weekend Open Days, the Festival of St Thomas Stories by the Theatre Alibi, St Thomas Winter Market, Community Lunches by LOVE Food CIC, and more!
For any questions, further information, or if you would like to join and volunteer, please message us on Facebook or email us at :
